Our Spankers are made with a 9/16 double braid polyester yachting rope (the same rope we use for our leads and reins) and have an eye splice on one end to place over your saddle horn and a latigo leather popper on the tail end with a back splice. Choose a length of 4 ft. 4 1/2 ft. 5 ft. or 5 1/2 ft. in the product options above. Available in an assortment of colors.

Please note that the eye splice in our Spanker is not large enough to fit over the larger saddle horns such as the Wade but can be wrapped around the gullet and inserted thru the end of the eye splice.

Our double braid polyester rope is dirt, sweat, mildew, rot and UV resistant. This means your rope will stay truer to it's original form much longer, without fading, stretching, popping or elongating.
